The Friends of the Dante Alighieri Society Inc. was established by enthusiastic members of the Dante Alighieri Society of Brisbane to provide valuable financial support for the activities of the Society in its promotion of Italian language and culture.

The efforts of 'the Friends' are not just limited to fundraising activities, but are also directed towards supporting and promoting this worldwide Society wherever possible.

Our activities have included organised tours of Italy, dinner dances, Italian movie evenings, Italian food and wine appreciation, involvement with the Giornata della Dante, and participation in the Brisbane Italian Festival.
